At the Chairman’s discretion residents are invited to give their views and question the Parish Council on issues on this Agenda, or raise issues for future consideration.  Members of the public may not take part in the Parish Council Meeting.  There will be no discussion by members of the Council during this session but the views expressed may be considered later as part of particular agenda items. During this period, in accordance with the revised Code of Conduct, members of the Council who have a disclosable interest (but not a disclosable pecuniary interest) in an item on the Agenda may also make representations, answer questions, or give evidence relating to that item.

 

Representatives from CALA Homes to discuss the delivery of the site and introduce members of the construction team to answer any questions.

 

b. Open forum for the under 18s.

c. To receive the Ward Member’s reports (3 minutes maximum each Ward Councillor)

b)     19/00381/FUL – new shared access, driveway and parking arrangements and erection of a fence at 15 & 16 School Rd, Salford Priors, WR11 8XD Decision Required

c)     19/00798/FUL – demolish single storey rear extension.  Erect 2 storey rear extension and dormer window.  Move entrance to side elevation at 11 Abbots Salford, Evesham, WR11 8UT Decision Required

d)     18/03712/FUL – Amendments to previously approved permission (17/0821/FUL).  Conversion of existing buildings to 3 dwellings with all associated works, single storey rear extension to Unit 2 and proposed new garage at Tothall Farm, Tothall Lane, Salford Priors, WR11 8YW Decision Required

e)     19/01013/TREE – proposed reducing canopy height of T1: Yew Tree from 7 metres to 5 metres at St Matthews Church, Station Rd, Salford Priors. Decision Required

a)     To note Lengthsman’sjobs issued from last Council meeting; comment on progress

b)     To consider future tasks to be issued to the Lengthsman

12. Community :

a)     To consider the full adoption of the new website.  The website provider has asked for access to the domain name provider to ensure this moves across smoothly.  To decide whether to keep the history section of the website.  Decision Required

b)     To consider the cost of an asbestos survey on the TOPs building.  Decision Required

c)     To consider the way forward regarding the telephone kiosk outside Salford Priors Primary School.  Decision Required

d)     To consider the way forward regarding the Speed Awareness Group.  Decision Required

13. Rights of Way :

To receive report from Cllr Penn on the Public Rights of Way within the Parish

15. Consideration of Correspondence Received : (Yellow Papers)

To consider request for £3,000 from the Cross Parish Cycle & Pathways Project) towards the cost of a feasibility study for the proposed cycleways project.                            Decision Required

To consider the request to provide 2 street names for the new School Rd development.  Decision Required

16. Correspondence to Note:

17. Finance : General (Pink Papers)

a)     To consider Section 1 – Annual Governance and Accountability Return FY 2018/19           

b)     To consider Section 2 – Annual Governance and Accountability Return – Accounting Statements – Salford Priors Parish Council Accounts FY 2018/19

c)     To note Salford Priors Parish Council has been selected for intermediate review for the 2018/19 reporting year.

d)     To consider the fourth quarterly account and bank reconciliation balances, budgets and cash book payments and receipts balances.

e)     Consideration and approval of the payments and transfers listed in Appendix A

f)      To agree 2 Councillor Signatories to sign the cheques/BACS remittances for payments listed in Appendix A

g)    To note the bank account balances

18. Date of Next Meeting:

To confirm the date of the Annual Council Meeting at 7pm on Wednesday 15thMay 2019.

To confirm the date of the Ordinary Parish Council Meeting following on directly from the Annual Council Meeting on Wednesday 15th May 2019 and dates for the coming year at the Memorial Hall Salford Priors/Dunnington Church Hall.
