Funding Opportunities for Community Groups and Organisations

Are you part of a community group or organisation seeking funding for a specific project?

Each year, the Council allocates a grants budget to support various organisations, projects, and activities that benefit local residents. Funding requests are welcomed from voluntary groups, charities, and community organisations, provided they meet the criteria outlined in the Council’s grant policy.

Grants awarded are discretionary and separate from any Council-funded services delivered under contract to meet statutory obligations.

If the total funding requests exceed the available budget for a given financial year, the Council will prioritise applications based on the greatest community impact.

To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate how the funding will benefit the Parish or its residents, specifying the number or percentage of people who will benefit.

Applications are open to not-for-profit organisations with a formal constitution and a bank account requiring at least two signatories.
