National Highways Works
Further to recent essential maintenance works on the A46 between Shottery and Salford Priors roundabout, additional road marking renewal work has also been identified.
Work will take place overnight on Monday 4 September 2023 and Tuesday 5 September 2023, between 9pm and 6am. To carry out work safely, the A46 will be closed between Salford Priors and Oversley Mill roundabout.
During the work the following closures and diversion will be in place:

Monday 4 September 2023 – Total closure of A46 northbound and southbound carriageway between Salford Priors and Oversley Mill roundabout. This includes a total closure of the southern side of Oversley Mill roundabout. During this closure there will be no access to Oversley Mill services.

Tuesday 5 September 2023 – Total closure of A46 northbound and southbound carriageway between Salford Priors and Oversley Mill roundabout. This includes a total closure of the northern side of Oversley Mill roundabout.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained. Vehicles wishing to leave the services during the closure will be escorted through the work area.
Every effort will be made to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.
