Long awaited traffic calming for Evesham/Station Road.

Please see details below of a temporary road closure notice – this is for the installation of the long awaited traffic calming works on Evesham/Station Rd. These works are anticipated to take one week with effect from 23rd September subject to weather conditions. Y

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C216 STATION ROAD & C216 EVESHAM ROAD, SALFORD PRIORS
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order details as indicated below:
| Effect of Order | C216 Station Road & C216 Evesham Road, Salford Priors is closed to vehicular traffic between A46 Norton Lenchwick Roundabout and New Inn Lane. |
| Reason for Order | To safely enable footway reconstruction works and to install road marking and road studs.
Road closed 0930 – 1530 hrs. |
| Order Effective from: 23 September 2024 for up to 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner. | |
| Anticipated Completion Date: 27 September 2024 | |
| Access & Diversion:
An alternative route will be signed and is available via: Evesham Road, B4088 Evesham Road, A44, A46 and vice versa. Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only. Access / egress to / from School Road to be via B4088 Salford Road only whilst works are in progress. |
