UKSPF & REPF Year 3 Call

The new 2024/25 UKSPF (Year 3) and REPF (Year 2) funding programmes are to be launched on Monday 11 March 2024 and will be open until Tuesday 9 April 2024 at midnight. So, if you are interested in securing a grant for your business or organisation, please READ on

Published: March 12, 2024

Once the application period has closed on Tuesday 9 April, all bids will be assessed and a final decision on the successful bids will be made by Tuesday 4 June, with monies being paid to successful bids as soon as practical, providing all contracts have been signed and returned in the previous fortnight.  All projects and their agreed outputs/outcomes will need to be fully completed by 31 March 2025 at the very latest – if you cannot meet this deadline, please do not apply for this round of funding as there will be NO EXCEPTIONS.

Both UKSPF and REPF grants are available to any business (both incorporated and sole traders/partnerships) or other legally created bodies (such as parish councils, local authorities, charities and the VCSE sector). Please note, REPF grants are for farm business diversification, not food production. The maximum grant bid is £50,000 and minimum is £2,000 and is for Capital or Revenue monies, depending on the relevant intervention.

Full details of both funding programmes are available NOW on our website:

Here you will find the Guidance Notes (including key facts, eligibility criteria and help with preparing your application) along with supporting documentation (such as budget funding table, interventions, draft application form and draft contract). We strongly recommend that you read the Guidance document before starting your application as it will help you focus your application and save time in the long run.

We have two webinars scheduled for anyone interested in finding out more about applying for a UKSPF or REPF grant. Delivered in partnership with Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action (WCAVA), these webinars take place as follows:

  • Wednesday 13 March 2024, 6.30pm-8.00pm
  • Thursday 21 March 2024, 8.30am-10.00am

Please use this link to book your place (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/webinars-stratford-uk-shared-prosperity-and-rural-prosperity-funding-tickets-848166357407?aff=oddtdtcreator)

If you are familiar with the Council’s original UKSPF/REPF Investment Plan, you will notice that some of the budget figures vary from the original. The reasons for this are:

  • More targeted and focused spread of funding across the Community and Place interventions (it is the third year for support in this area). E5 is largely committed to the Council’s proposed use for CCTV and security infrastructure (subject to SDC Cabinet approval in April 2024).
  • There will be no open calls for Local Business projects as we are partnering with the Warwickshire County Council and other local authorities to extend six joint county-wide business support programmes into 24/25 for a longer period of time.
  • There will be no open calls for People and Skills funding due to: partnering with other local authorities to deliver support for the unemployed, those requiring new skills, upskilling in existing businesses or fundamental maths learning; use of the E39 capital funding proposed to support Stratford-on-Avon College to develop as a centre for excellence in future green skills, especially automotive electric vehicle training courses (subject to SDC Cabinet approval in April 2024).
