  1. Very pleased with playground improvements, and skate park. Wanted to say thank you on behalf of our family.

Would like to ask for residents to be reminded about picking up after their dogs, it’s getting worse, on one single day I used 11 additional bags to the ones used for my small dogs. It’s large dog owners who are not picking up, and to leave it around the school is disgraceful. Can we do more about it? Call dog warden to patrol? Paint floor with no pooing signs?

Also, not sure if this is appropriate place to ask, are the community making any plans for the platinum jubilee? I’d love to help if so.

Thank you for all you do for our community, especially Donna, who always answers questions and is very approachable.

    • Hi Sarah

Many thanks for your comments – the additional equipment to the play area has proved extremely popular. Dog mess is a regular complaint from residents; regular articles go in the newsletters and the Parish Council has provided a dog bag bin which is topped up regularly to try and encourage people to clear up after their dogs. There is only one dog warden for the whole of the County – he has paid a visit before but I will contact him again for further advice.

The newsletter that is coming out in February is providing full details of the plans the Parish Council has for the Platinum Jubilee Celebration. Thank you for your offer of help which is very much needed – I will contact you directly regarding this. Donna Bowles, Parish Clerk
