Avian influenza has been confirmed in a number of geese along the river Avon in Stratford-on-Avon
The Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) have confirmed avian influenza A(H5N1) is currently present in the wild bird population.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY INFORMATION
Salford Priors Parish Council will mark Remembrance Sunday on 9th November. Gather at 9:45 AM at the Memorial Hall for a short service and wreath laying at 9:55 AM, followed by a 10:05 AM procession to St Matthews Church.

Please find information relating to the proposed diversion for the above closure from 04/08/2025 to 22/08/2025 to safely enable works to install underground cables. The emergency services will be informed, and the contractor will notify residents and businesses directly affected by the closure.
