Salford Priors Parish Council raised safety concerns about the A46 with MP Manuela Perteghella. She consulted National Highways and organised a meeting with affected parish councils to discuss remedial and mitigation projects for the hazardous road section.

Further to recent essential maintenance works on the A46 between Shottery and Salford Priors roundabout, additional road marking renewal work has also been identified.
Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership is raising awareness of how drivers and their families can save money and be better drivers at the same time.
Highways England are planning some essential maintenance work on the A46 between Shottery roundabout and Salford Priors. As part of the work, they’ll be renewing the road markings to provide a clearer and safer carriageway for road users.
