Salford Priors Parish Council will mark Remembrance Sunday on 9th November. Gather at 9:45 AM at the Memorial Hall for a short service and wreath laying at 9:55 AM, followed by a 10:05 AM procession to St Matthews Church.

Remembrance Sunday – 9th November
The parish of Salford Priors will come together on Sunday, 9th November, to honor the courage and sacrifice of those who served in the armed forces. Residents are invited to join the events, which provide a moment of reflection and community remembrance.
The morning begins at 9:45 AM at the Memorial Hall, where attendees will gather for a brief Memorial Service at 9:55 AM, including wreath-laying. At 10:05 AM, a procession will move from the Memorial Hall to St Matthews Church for the main Remembrance Sunday Service with a further wreath-laying ceremony. A wreath will also be laid at the Baptist Church in Dunnington to honour the village’s fallen across multiple locations.
Residents are encouraged to join in this important morning, paying tribute and remembering the sacrifices that have shaped the community and the nation. This event provides a meaningful opportunity for reflection, respect, and unity.
