Affordable Housing in Salford Priors
Rural areas like Salford Priors face growing housing pressures due to limited development, rising property prices, and an aging population. Affordable homes are vital to support local residents, boost the economy, and reduce pressure on public services.
To understand local housing needs, Salford Priors Parish Council commissioned WRCC to conduct a housing needs survey in early 2025, covering all communities within the parish. This follows a 2008 survey that identified the need for six affordable rental homes. Survey responses were collected by post and online until March 23, 2025.
