Celebrating VE Day at the Warm Hub
This morning the Warm Hub marked the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe with a special lunch of Fish & Chips with well known songs and recordings from the era being played in the background. The Memorial Hall was decorated with Red White and Blue bunting making memories for all who attended.
The hall fell silent at 12:00 noon to mark the National 2 minutes silence paying respect to the greatest generation and for the sacrifices they made.
Thank you to all the volunteers who made this a memorable occasion.
